The rules and conditions governing your use of GorroBoys products and services.
By accessing or using any GorroBoys service, including gorroboys.com, hub.gorroboys.com, and all associated software, APIs, and tools (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and GorroBoys (“GorroBoys”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
GorroBoys provides a WhatsApp automation platform and related digital products that allow businesses to automate customer communications, manage contacts, send broadcast messages, and integrate with third-party tools. The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible. Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Services.
We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the core messaging and automation platform. In the event of an extended outage — defined as more than 24 consecutive hours of verified platform unavailability — you may request a proportional service credit equal to the affected period, calculated against your monthly subscription fee. Credits are applied to your next billing cycle and are your sole remedy for service downtime. Scheduled maintenance communicated at least 24 hours in advance does not count towards downtime calculations.
The Smart Website service is a design-and-build engagement. Delivery timelines are agreed at the time of purchase confirmation. Upon project completion and full payment, you receive ownership of the website files and any domain registered on your behalf. The embedded WhatsApp chat widget and AI assistant functionality require an active GorroBoys subscription to operate; these features will be suspended if your subscription lapses.
The Social Media Manager automates posting and engagement on connected social media accounts on your behalf. You grant GorroBoys a limited, revocable authorisation to post content, respond to comments, and read analytics data on your connected accounts solely to deliver this service. You retain full ownership and control of your social accounts at all times and may revoke access at any point through your account settings.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at our discretion.
Access to the platform requires a paid subscription. Plans are billed monthly. Each plan includes a defined number of WhatsApp numbers, sessions per month, chatbot flows, and other features as described on our pricing page.
A “session” is a 24-hour conversation window with a single customer contact initiated via WhatsApp. Sessions are consumed as they occur and do not roll over between billing periods. If you exceed your plan’s session allowance, automated responses will pause until your plan renews or you upgrade.
Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing period. Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where a service credit is applicable under our uptime policy (see Section 2.1). If you cancel your subscription, you retain access to the Services until the end of your current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are provided for unused time. Smart Website projects that have commenced design or development work are non-refundable; cancellations before work begins are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
Depending on the WhatsApp connectivity method used on your account, there may be additional fees charged by third-party providers. GorroBoys will notify you of any such fees applicable to your setup. These are separate from your GorroBoys subscription and billed independently.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Your use of GorroBoys to send WhatsApp messages must comply with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Policy and Messaging Policy at all times. You are responsible for:
GorroBoys is not liable for any suspension, restriction, or ban applied by Meta to your WhatsApp Business account as a result of your messaging practices.
Your use of the Social Media Manager must comply with the community guidelines, advertising policies, and terms of service of each connected platform (Meta, TikTok, X Corp, and others). You are solely responsible for ensuring that all content scheduled or posted through the service does not violate platform rules, applicable advertising standards, or local laws. GorroBoys is not liable for the suspension, restriction, or removal of your social media accounts or content as a result of your posting practices or the content you submit.
Automated responses generated by the AI assistant are based on the information you provide (knowledge base, FAQs, product data). GorroBoys does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated responses. You are responsible for reviewing your assistant’s configuration and ensuring responses are suitable for your customers and compliant with applicable consumer protection laws.
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. As a user of the platform, you are the data controller for any customer data you process through our Services, and GorroBoys acts as a data processor on your behalf.
You warrant that you have a lawful basis for collecting and processing your customers’ personal data, including obtaining any required consents under applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR, NDPA Ghana, or POPIA South Africa).
All intellectual property in the Services, including the platform software, interface, branding, and documentation, is owned by GorroBoys or its licensors. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services during the subscription period. No ownership rights are transferred.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the platform, including knowledge base documents, chatbot flows, and contact data. By uploading content, you grant GorroBoys a limited licence to process and store that content solely to provide the Services to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to the Services until then.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent or harmful behaviour, or if we are required to do so by law. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for more than 12 months with 30 days’ prior notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days following termination, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, all data will be permanently deleted.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website and, where appropriate, by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct negotiation for a period of 30 days.
